By William Bendis

Teenagers like parties and holidays and eagerly wait for Christmas as it is the cream of all parties. During this celebrated day, they always want to look magnificent and parents always step in to ensure they get the best appreciation gifts for their kids. Clothing is one among the many gifts bought and getting your teens the right Christmas t-shirts is every parents dream. In such outfit, kids will always keep the show live and make it fun even for your invited guests.

When given the job to design t-shirts for their kids, you as a designer should always keep the parents posted. You should involve them in the initial stages especially when designing. This is because parents know their daughters and sons. They know their tastes and what they will like. This helps you reduce the chances of your final product being rejected.

When designing a cloth for your client understand very well the occasion where it is going to be worn. Parties have different art decorations as compared to church outfit t-shirts. Attires to be worn during parties have exciting and funny decorations. Those for church functions tend to be more reserved and cool. They do not have shouting and contradicting messages. They carry a Christmas theme to depict the birth of Christ.

If there is any age group that is conscious of fashion then they are the youth people. Teens like celebrating the current heroes and showing them they are just posted with current designs. Explore the market just to know which artwork is on fashion.

Teenagers like putting on personalized gifts. As a designer, you must know their favorite color and the graphics they enjoy. Remember boys and girls have different tastes for color. Design t-shirts for boys with masculine taste and use soft and feminine designs on the tops for girls. Remember as a parent you could be making this gift for your kid and you would not love seeing them sulk because they did not like it. Your designer should get this right.

The quality of the fabric you working with matters a lot in design. However interesting a drawing is, it is of no use if it will fade off immediately the cloth is soaked in water. You client will feel conned. Your aim is to keep them coming back, so get the right garment that does not fade.

Christmas is about celebration. Family members that have not been in physical contact for long come together to have fun and celebrate together. Churches sing songs of praise for the birth of their savior. When assigned to make tops for this day ensure you capture this. Colors that depict mourning should be avoided to make the day a success for your kids.

When designing, stick to the budget. Any unforeseen changes that may come due to market fluctuation should be communicated immediately. Keep the record books and especially if given a big contract. Ensure your boss is posted on every expense. This is a sign of accountability and concern. An in all, aspire to work and stay within the budget line. Most parents do not like sudden last minute changes. Remember these Christmas t-shirts are for their beloved kids, play a role in having their juniors appreciate them.
